La Argentina...y La Capital Federal....
A few days, and only a few days earlier, I had been puffing on the cigarette of a sun kissed life, while meandering along a dusty back street of my adopted little islands capital holding hands with another opportunity for thought.
That self same thought took me back to Argentina where another capital, this time Buenos Aires, hugged me like a familiar friend, the evening heat sitting easily on my shoulders. It was December, approaching Christmas and mid-summer in this hemisphere, with a wandering Scot 10.000 miles from home …wherever home was.
I felt comfortable among the street flamenco and Quilmes adverts. My mind open, I hoped, to learning and acceptance, and a cultural leap from bad karaoke in the pseudo themed bars of package holiday Europe.
Financial men on street corners calling like sirens……cambio cambio …cambio…lo que hacemos… ..
