Por Fin

Well at least or at last I have something to recount.

A passing kiss from COVID which still lingers called for a visit to the local health centre, The village of Mazo was a ghost town  when the dreaded virus paid a visit., and you guessed correctly it was a holiday, the inhabitants celebrating one of the islands many saints, simply by staying invisible, out of sight.

I know that events such as bycicle pruebas are usualy advertised much simply language  barrier, but the whole cultural way of living  that the foreigners like me need to learn and understand.

But I was met with the usual response when I indicated that EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEGLLLLLEEEESH was not my lengua materna.

You can guess the rest and. Im still breathing.

Talk soon.

Let The Wind Blow

Blowing a gale again today, a bit fed up with it. I think its huracane Elena or whats left of it.

But wait a moment, have I any right to complain about the weather, or anything for that matter?

Consider if you will the state of the twirling globe which we call mother earth? The so called Holy Land, its inhabitants killing each other, if thats what  religion is, I want no part.

maybe or simply perhaps

maybe or simply perhaps, I am getting quite good at football pictures and anything else. I must admit that my desire to capture that image has been, well, not quite what it used to be but after Sunday when I was refused entry by the old dears in the ticket office, it was at the point of giving in and going elsewhere that the officialdom rescued me, brandishing temporada 24/25 passes.

So all was well, and by manner of return, I produced some good images, and dare I say it , a couple of very good ones. ( really must try out my new printer)

So that is my news dear readers, still a little dull I am aware but the only way is up, is it not?
